Yesterday was the day that I got to try the food of Tuna Town (Alabang Town Center branch). I've been seeing their store for quite a while and I think it was about time that I got to stuff myself with healthier(tuna's healthier right?) food. Anyway, I ordered the Sinigang na panga ng tuna; here's my thoughts.
Pros:
SINIGANG'S JUST ABOUT RIGHT.
I found the taste just about right because it wasn't too bland or too sour. You can sip on their sinigang all day long and you wouldn't get sick of it. Well, I won't.
SERVING IS MORE THAN ENOUGH.
In terms of value for money, I think the Sinigang na panga ng tuna is perfect. Especially to all the rice lovers in the world. For P130, the sinigang soup is definitely enough to serve 2 people and the panga ng tuna is huuuuge. That's a big serving in my book.
Cons:
Rice and Freshness
The rice could be a bit more refined; there are still bits of unpeeled (is that what you call it?) grains. Because some of Tuna Town's food are already cooked and on display, the texture of the fish doesn't seem really fresh.
OVERALL RATING: 7.5/10
Good food and affordable. Try it out!
