Mr. Fried Rice

To those who don't know about Mr. Fried Rice, just ask anybody who studied in De La Salle Zobel in the past decade. Rice meals in a box/bowl (Chicken, Beef, Lumpia). When I was in school, I remember buying every lunch time and never got tired of eating it. Currently, it's not located in the Zobel school cafeteria anymore but is still present in bazaars, school events, etc. (I'll post it here as soon as I find out where they will set up next) I'll give my thoughts on Mr. Fried Rice's offerings given that I've tried all of them (repeatedly, trust me).

Pros:

AFFORDABLE, GOOD SERVING, AND CONSISTENT
Today's current price for an order is P60 and is a good buy. You don't feel cheated because the serving would really fill the customer and there is a good balance of rice and viand. (Notice other rice bowls where you feel like you're just eating rice? Boo) One more good thing is that the taste has been consistent over the years. Customers who haven't eaten here for a long time will not be disappointed because nothing changed.

UNIQUE
Their food is uniquely good; you might think chicken and beef are pretty much offered by other rice meal stores and think that the look or taste are similar to each other. However, Mr. Fried Rice's servings have a distinct taste that I'm pretty sure you haven't experienced yet in other chicken/beef rice meals.

Cons:

AVAILABILITY
This is the only con I can think of. Because I am an avid fan, I consider it as a con because it doesn't have a permanent location. You have to wait and see when and where they will set up shop next.

My personal favorite is their chicken rice meal. Must try!!!!!!!!!!
